Canada beat the USA 3-2 in overtime!!!!

Canada's Sidney Crosby got a goal in overtime getting Canada their victory over US. The game was hectic from the beginning to end. Being that we won this game we didn't only get a gold medal but we beat the world record of 13 gold medals! We are in third with 26 medals 14 being gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze.

Canada beats Slovakia and books a rematch with United States

Canada beat Slovakia 3-2 yesterday. It was a really close game. Tomorrow will be the gold medal event between the US and Canada, hopefully we win!

Canada advances to semifinals beating Russia 7-3

Canada won against Russia in men's hockey a few seconds ago! Since we won this game we now advance to the semifinals. The final score was 7-3. Corey Perry scored twice this game! Related to this news USA also advanced to medal round. I really hope we win. Go Canada Go!!!

Canada wins in men's Hockey!

Canada won the men's hockey game against Germany. The final score was 8-2 for Canada. It was a very good game. Since Canada won this game they now qualify for the quarterfinals, it will be Canada VS. Russia on Wednesday be sure to watch. Go Canada Go!!!

Canada's Ashleigh McIvor wins Canada's 6th gold medal!!!

Ashleigh Mclvor won gold in women's freestyle ski cross. This is Canada's 6th gold medal, but sadly we are still in 5th. It was a really good performance, and i really hope we get more gold medals. Go Canada Go!!!

Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir win gold in figure skating yesturday!

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir won gold in figure skating yesturday in figure skating. They are the first and youngest north American couple to win gold in figure skating.This was their first time competing in the Olympics. Tessa Virtue, 20, Scott Moir, 22 had Canada in their feet last night.

Canada made a really big mistake taking their goaly out and putting in another offence player. I can not believe Canada lost and would do such a move. The final score of this game was 5-3.

Mark Tuitert (Netherland) wins gold in men's 1500m speed skating

Mark Tuitert just won a gold medal in men's 1500m speed skating a few minutes ago. His time was 1:45.57, what a performance it was. I can't believe that out of Mark's pair they got first and second! Mark taking gold and Davis taking second. The last pair was USA and Canada, USA was very close to Mark's time but in the ending Mark ended up wining the gold. Canada was well behind Mark's record in the last pair.

4th Gold medal for Canada!!!

Jon Montgomery wins gold in men's skeleton last night. What an amazing run it was, he ended the night with gold. Jon is now the fourth Canadian to get a gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Montgomery's combined four-race time was 3 minutes 29.73 seconds. Dukurs's silver-medal time was 3:29.80 and Russia's Alexander Tretyakov with 3:29.80.

Dave Duncan breaks collar bone in men's ski cross event

Dave Duncan broke his collar done training for the men's ski cross, which is supposed to take place Sunday at the Cypress Mountain. The injury occurred on the first training run at Cypress. He did not suffer any other major injuries but he will have surgery. Brady Lehman will be replacing Dave in the event on Sunday.

As Canada beats Norway 8-0 Dany Heatley and Jarome Iginla score two goals. After a scoreless first period Canada scores two goals both two minutes apart early second period.

Yesturday, Tatjana Huefner won gold in men's luge getting Germany thier third gold medal!

Tatjana Huefner had a terrific time of 2minutes 46.524sec over the four runs while Austria's Nina Reithmayer got second at 0.490sec. Third was Germany's Natalie Geisenberger with 0.577sec off the pace.

America's Lindsey Vonn wins gold in Alpine Skiing

American Lindsey Vonn won women's downhill gold at the Winter Olympics on Wednesday. Julia Mancuso took the silver medal leaving Austrian Elisabeth Goergl with bronze. This is the first ever gold medal America has won in women's alpine skiing.

Another win for Canada's Cheryl Bernard!!!

Team Canada's Cheryl Bernard, Susan O'Connor, Carolyn Darbyshire and Cori Bartel get a 7-6 victory over team Japan. This was the team's second win.

Alexandre Bilodeau wins first gold medal for Canada!

Alexander Bilodeau is the first Canadian athlete to get a gold medal for Canada in the 2010 winter olympics. He won this medal in men's moguls on Sunday, February 14th 2010. He scored 26.75 points, just .17 away from Australia and .67 away from the United States.
